Burns chairman gets Onalaska town administrator job(2008/12/17) Onalaska Town Clerk Sue Schultz said she will begin scanning the help wanted ads after the Onalaska Town Board voted Monday night to offer its administrator position to Paul Kitzmann, the current chairman of the town of Burns.
Council OKs water pollution measures(2008/12/17) Onalaska Common Council members reluctantly approved a group of 10 ordinances to implement a mandated stormwater quality management program, with recommendations that could cost the city about $4 million in the next five years.
Holmen business park filling up(2008/12/17) There will be only one lot left in the Holmen Business Park if the sale of lot 7 is completed to dentist Terry Cowgill. Tuesday members of the Holmen Village Board’s Finance and Personnel Committee approved the sale to Cowgill for $31,200. The deal must receive village board at its meeting Thursday, Dec. 11 (after the Courier-Life deadline).

Onalaska town clerk on chopping block in money-saving move(2008/12/09) Sue Schultz’s days as the Onalaska town clerk would be numbered if the Onalaska Town Board moves forward with a plan to combine her position with a yet-to-be-hired administrator.
City takes wait and see position on annexation(2008/12/09) The Board of Public Works Tuesday night decided to make no decisions about extending infrastructure over Nathan Hill until after Dec. 29.
