LETTER: Lord, Democrats have mysterious ways

.
For the third time I say the Lord moves in mysterious ways.

First, Barack Obama is elected on a promise of openness and change, end to earmarks (I’ll go through each bill line by line and eliminate all earmarks), no more business as usual, televised hearings on needed health care reform, etc. and then proceeds to do the opposite of all his campaign rhetoric, making a bad situation even worse.
So much worse, in fact, the people actually start to pay attention to all the corruption, which was rampant to begin with, but now becomes even more rampant. Enough they start to yell. They start to organize. Tea Parties are formed. Town hall meetings are met with angry outcries against the arrogant Democrats, who openly ignore the views of their electorate.

Groups such as Smartgirlpolitics.com are formed. Americans become awakened, and what they see they do not like. Virginia elects a Republican governor, strike one. New Jersey, despite huge corruption, elects a Republican governor, strike two. And now a 110 mph fast ball right down the middle in Massachusetts, and a Republican senator is elected, strike three.

Not just your normal election, a special election in a state where only 12 percent of the voters are registered Republicans. A state that has a Democrat governor.

A state where the 40-seat state Senate includes just five Republicans. A state where the U.S. senators are both Democrats, both sought the presidency, both spoiled, arrogant rich kids. One having been in the Senate since 1962. A state that elected Michael Dukakis governor and the Democrats nominated in 1988 for president.

A state steeped in American history — Paul Revere, Sam Adams, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, the Old North Church, Lexington, Concord. And now Scott Brown in a Chevy pick-up truck. Yep, the Lord moves in mysterious ways.
