Onalaska Police Department
Tuesday, Jan. 26

11:20 a.m. — An 18-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Elm Street on a warrant.

4:49 p.m. — A 19-year-old Onalaska man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after he was stopped on Highway 157 for a suspended license and officers investigated with a drug-sniffing dog

Wednesday, Jan. 27

1:53 a.m. — A 34-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Second Avenue North for his first drunk driving offense and resisting arrest after he became argumentative with an officer.

Thursday, Jan. 28

12:45 p.m. — An Onalaska man reported several instances of checking fraud when 10 of his checks were written in Southern states for almost $1,500.

3 p.m. — An Onalaska High School teacher reported her $300 MP3 player was stolen from a desk in her classroom within the previous month.

5:08 p.m. — A Genoa woman reported the rear window of her car smashed while it was parked in front of a Highway 16 business. The cost of repair was $240.

5:19 p.m. — A 28-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Main Street on a warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:51 p.m. — A 27-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on 13th Avenue South on a warrant.

9:37 p.m. — A 27-year-old Holmen man was arrested on Second Avenue for his first drunk driving offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Jan. 29

2:23 a.m. — A 30-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Second Avenue North on a warrant.

Sunday, Jan. 31

12:52 p.m. — An 18-year-old Onalaska woman was arrested at her Park Avenue home on a warrant.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

12:20 a.m. — An 39-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Fairfield Street on two warrants.

Holmen Police Department

Friday, Jan. 29

8:49 a.m. — A 14-year-old Onalaska boy was referred to juvenile services for three counts of theft after he allegedly stole another student’s bike at Holmen Middle School, rode to BP and shoplifted four packs of gum.

1:39 p.m. — A Holmen High School student reported her car “keyed” while it was parked in the school’s parking lot on Jan. 21.

1:51 p.m. — A Holmen High School student reported a $130 calculator stolen from his locker on Jan. 14.

Saturday, Jan. 30

10:45 a.m. — A 26-year-old Holmen man was arrested at his Starlite Drive home for domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct and three counts of bail jumping.

11:53 p.m. — A 35-year-old Holmen man was arrested at Smokey’s Bar for violating the “no drink” provision of his bond.

Onalaska Fire Department

Tuesday, Jan. 26

4:28 p.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of Eagle Bluff Court for a person whose tongue was stuck to a metal pole.

8:48 p.m. — First responder call on the 400 block of 14th Avenue North for a person injured in a fall.

Wednesday, Jan. 27

6:21 a.m. — First responder call on the W6800 block of Cloverdale Road for a person experiencing bleeding.

9:46 a.m. — First responder call on the 1200 block of Main Street for a person having a seizure.

4:46 p.m. — Fire call on the 1200 block of Lauderdale Place for a carbon monoxide detector activation.

8:19 p.m. — First responder call on the 400 block of Mason Street for a child who had swallowed soap.

9:49 p.m. — First responder call on the 600 block of Second Avenue North for a person injured in a fall.

Thursday, Jan. 28

8:16 a.m. — Fire call at the PETCO store on Crossing Meadows Drive to investigate the smell of smoke.

8:36 a.m. — First responder call on the 1800 block of East Avenue North for a person experiencing weakness.

8:59 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on Highway 35 and Riders Club Road for an auto accident with injuries.

Friday, Jan. 29

4:19 a.m. — First responder call on the 800 block of Critter Court for a person with a headache.

8:42 a.m. — First responder call on the 1300 block of Herman Court for a person possibly having a heart attack.

10:57 a.m. — Fire call on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue North for a natural gas problem.

3:04 a.m. — First responder call on the 400 block of 14th Avenue North for a person who was vomiting.

5:34 a.m. — First responder call on the 1200 block of Red Cedar Court for a person injured in a fall.

10:03 p.m. — First responder call on Highway 157 and I-90 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
