An Onalaska musician has released his second CD, this one a two-CD set.
Former Rearview Mirror guitarist Matt Olson calls his solo musical project Brahman Shaman, and he has released, “Animist,” a collection of 20 songs he wrote and recorded at his Onalaska studio, playing all the instruments, singing all the vocals and doing all the recording production work.
“Animist” can be found in La Crosse at Deaf Ear Records and Dave’s Guitar Shop. People also can buy it online at www.brahmanshaman.com, as well as on iTunes and at Amazon.com.
People also can buy “Animist” and hear a version of Brahman Shaman live, with Olson singing and playing electric guitar and Jaran Carson of WigglePuppy drumming on Feb. 5 at J.B.’s Speakeasy. Brahman Shaman performs at 9 p.m., opening for a double bill of Dream 13 and Porcupine.
The Brahman Shaman duo also will perform March 20 at The Root Note in La Crosse.
