ONALASKA — Miriam A. Pierce, 87, of Onalaska died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Mulder Health Care Center, West Salem. Dickinson Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ricky “Ralph” L. Halverson
TOWN OF HOLLAND — Ricky “Ralph” L. Halverson, 58, of town of Holland passed away Dec. 30, 2009, at his home.
Ralph was born March 29, 1951, to Merton E. and Maxine P. (Cain) Halverson.
Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and solitude. A special thanks goes to his brother, Marc, for an early start on his bucket list and making sure he didn’t go homeless!
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Fowler; and his brothers, Mitchell and Marc Halverson.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary; and his infant brother, Christopher.
Per Ralph’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Margaret ‘Marge’ A. (Schaller) Pedretti
HOLMEN — Margaret “Marge” A. (Schaller) Pedretti died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse.
She is survived by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass was celebrated Saturday, Jan. 2, at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 515 N. Main St., in Holmen. The Revs. Robert Schaller and Delbert Malin will concelebrate. Burial will be at a later date in the Catholic Cemetery in La Crosse.
Marge’s request was that no flowers would be at her service. Memorials may be given to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Aquinas High School or St. Bede Monastry, P.O. Box 66, Priory Road, Eau Claire, WI, 54702.
