A public H1N1 flu vaccine clinic has been set for 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday by the La Crosse County Health Department.
The clinic will be in the basement auditorium of the County Health and Human Services Building, 300 Fourth St. N. Call (608) 785-6434 or (608) 785-6236 to make an appointment.
These high-risk groups are eligible: pregnant women, people who live or care for infants 6 months or younger, people age 6 months to 24 years and those 25 to 64 who have chronic medical conditions.
Gundersen Lutheran will offer the H1N1 vaccine to high-risk groups and seasonal flu vaccine to anyone today through Friday at its La Crosse and Onalaska clinics. The clinics are for walk-ins only.
Franciscan Skemp patients can get both flu vaccines but must make an appointment for upcoming clinics - 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday in the former hospital emergency room in La Crosse and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 12 at the Onalaska clinic. To register, call (608) 392-6800.
