Two Onalaska High School runners have been selected by the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association as all-state performers.
Onalaska junior Maddie Hibshman was named to the first team with her time of 15 minutes, 8 seconds.
Hibshman placed 10th in her third WIAA Division 1 state meet and improved on previous finishes of 49th and 40th.
She warmed up for the best state meet of her career by winning MVC and sectional championships.
Senior Dan Roth (16:31) was named to the boys second team after placing 16th in the state meet.
Roth placed third in the MVC meet and fifth in the sectional race the week before state.
The WCCCA only names one first team, one second team and one honorable mention list. All three WIAA divisions are lumped together.
