Big Band Ball set for Nov. 21

The Onalaska High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Jim Knutson, will present its annual Big Band Ball on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Onalaska American Legion at 731 Sand Lake Road.

Dinner and dancing start at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served until 8:30 p.m. and music running from 6 to 10 p.m.

The evening will feature the following jazz bands:

  • 6 p.m. — Onalaska Middle School Jazz Band

  • 7 p.m. — West Salem Adult Jazz Band

  • 8 p.m. — Grumpy Old Men

  • 9 p.m. — OHS Jazz Band

    Tickets for the Big Band Ball are $15 for a steak dinner, $20 for steak and shrimp dinner or $5 for music only.

    Seating is limited and this event sells out quickly. Tickets are available by contacting OHS band boosters Dave McCarthy and Mary Goodsett at 781-4916.

    Only $5 music tickets will be available on site.
