Onalaska church plans two-day fest First Lutheran Church in Onalaska has two days of food, prizes and youth-oriented fun planned as part of First Fest on Main, which will be held Sept. 12-13 at the church, 410 Main St. Saturday’s activities run from 8 to 10:30 p.m. and include free pizza, prize drawings (including an iPod Touch) and a rock concert by local band Seventh Resistance and Venus on Fire, a band from the Twin Cities. Festivities on Sunday will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include music by Hans Meyer at 12:30 p.m., entertainment by comic juggler Paul Halter at 9:45 a.m., skateboarding demonstrations at 10:15 a.m., YMCA dance program at 11:45 a.m., a performance by the Onalaska High School dance team at 12:45 p.m. and performances by First Lutheran’s Praise Band (Todd and Jenny Saner, Jim Knutson, Dick Daleki, Janette Hanson and Troy Birdsong) at 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Food will be provided by Festival Foods.
