Hernandez competed in the Personal Finance division, Strack competed in Introduction to Business Communication, Caron competed in Business Math and Andersen competed in Public Speaking I. These four students vied for top honors against the winners of all other state competitions.
The competition is part of a program sponsored annually by FBLA, a professional association for students pursuing business careers.
Individuals, local chapters and state teams compete at the conference in events representing a range of business, career and leadership development activities.
Travis Johnson, business education teacher and FBLA adviser at Onalaska High School, accompanied the three students to their national competition in Anaheim.
