A Degen Berglund Pharmacy and an ExpressCare clinic are expected to open in late summer or early fall at the Festival Foods store in the Crossing Meadows shopping center in Onalaska.
Festival Foods is proud to be partnering with Gundersen Lutheran and Degen Berglund in the new venture, store owner Dave Skogen said.
“We believe having an on-site ExpressCare clinic and pharmacy in our Onalaska store will be a great convenience for our guests” and one more way to serve their needs and bring them back.
Both Degen Berglund Pharmacy and ExpressCare are part of Gundersen Lutheran. The new location will be Degen Berglund’s fourth pharmacy, said Chuck Johnson, director of regional business development for Gundersen Lutheran Health System.
The ExpressCare clinic at the Degen Berglund Pharmacy in the Center 90 shopping center in Onalaska will move to Festival Foods, Johnson said. But that pharmacy will remain in Center 90, he said. ExpressCare clinics provide a variety of health services for a set fee.
“We believe having our clinic in a busy retail setting will ultimately make it more successful,” Johnson said of moving the clinic.
