Hilltoppers capture MVC’s all-sports award

Onalaska High School has won the MVC’s all-sports award as the most successful program of the 2008-09 school year.

The Hilltoppers won conference championships in boys golf, girls soccer, boys and girls track and field, girls cross country, girls tennis and boys hockey this year to finish with a team season score of 86½ points.
Logan (83) was second, Central (81½) third, Aquinas (73.13) fourth, Holmen (62.63) fifth, Tomah (54½) sixth and Sparta (42½) seventh.

Holmen won girls golf and tied Onalaska for the title in boys golf. It also placed second in girls cross country and girls basketball.
