Danielle Clements of Onalaska graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, with a master of arts degree in teaching (grade 8-12 math).
The following area students graduated with bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville:
HOLMEN: Amanda Valiquette, fine arts.
ONALASKA: Regina Nommensen, elementary education; Anthony Fontanini, mechanical engineering
Amy Rentschler was named to the 2009 spring semester dean’s list at South Dakota State University in Brookings.
Dylan Schank of Holmen and Laura Johnson and Benjamin Sturm of Onalaska were named to the 2009 spring semester dean’s list at Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Laura Dahlen of Onalaska graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree in French.
Megan Stowers of Onalaska graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and interdisciplinary studies.
Jonathan Wrolstad of Onalaska graduated from Iowa State University with a master’s degree in mathematics.
Jenna Buley of Holmen received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is employed by veterinary clinics in Cumberland and Shell Lake, Wis.
Mark Buley of Holmen received his chef’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He is a chef in Aspen, Colo.

Maria Mackey and Michael Mackey, both Holmen High School graduates, were named to the 2008-09 winter semester dean’s list at Northland College in Ashland, Wis.

The following area students were named to academic achievement lists for the 2009 spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Highest honors went to those who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0. High honor citations go to those with GPAs from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with GPAs from 3.50 to 3.74.
