The following log is based on reports from the Holmen and Onalaska police and fire departments.

Onalaska Police Department
Wednesday, May 13

11:10 a.m. — A 15-year-old girl was arrested for two thefts totaling $67 from purses in the girls locker room at Onalaska High School.

Monday, May 18

5 p.m. — A 16-year-old boy was arrested on the 700 block of Rolling Oaks Drive for resisting arrest and obstructing an officer when he ran away from police who were looking for him as a runaway/missing person.

Tuesday, May 19

7:05 a.m. — Graffiti was painted on a soda machine at Sue Kolve’s Salon on Main Street.

7:30 a.m. — Someone moved picnic tables and stone benches around at Luther High School, which resulted in a broken window.

Wednesday, May 20

6:53 a.m. — A plant was stolen from a porch on the 300 block of Quincy Street.

10:55 a.m. — Graffiti was found on a trailer at Quality Sign on the 300 block of Second Avenue South.

2:38 p.m. — A vehicle stolen from St. Louis, Mo., was found at the Onalaska Kwik Trip on the 900 block of Second Avenue North.

3:09 p.m. — A La Crosse man is sought by police for battery, strangulation and reckless endangerment for strangling and punching a pregnant Onalaska woman in the stomach at the Lake Motel on the 900 block of Second Avenue North.

Thursday, May 21

10:41 a.m. — Two hanging baskets were reported stolen from a front porch on the 500 block of 10th Avenue North.

3:06 p.m. — A woman on the 2000 block of 13th Street was the victim of a “secret shopper” scam. She received a fraudulent check for almost $4,000 as payment.

5:30 p.m. — Hanging plants were stolen from a front porch on the 600 block of Grove Street.

7:45 p.m. — A man was arrested in connection with a domestic dispute on the 1000 block of Redwood Street.

Holmen Police Department

Monday, May 18

4:27 p.m. — A bicycle was stolen from outside a home on the 3100 block of Cedar Avenue South.

Tuesday, May 19

11:15 a.m. — A car parked at the Holmen High School was vandalized. Someone flattened a tire and broke the driver’s side mirror.

2:34 p.m. — A counterfeit $20 bill was found in the Seven Bridges Bank ATM machine.

Wednesday, May 20

5:14 p.m. — Two teenagers who were making out on the 100 block of Manchester were advised to go somewhere else.

5:27 p.m. — Police assisted a choking baby on the 500 block of Gregory Street.

5:46 p.m. — Police broke up a domestic dispute at Festival Foods.

Thursday, May 21

6:42 a.m. — Flowers and planters were stolen off a porch on the 1900 block of Fauna Street.

7:23 a.m. — A hanging plant was stolen from a porch on the 200 block of Grant Street.

10:01 a.m. — Two hanging flower plants were stolen from a porch on the 300 block of Grant Street.

Onalaska Fire Department

Tuesday, May 19

7:12 a.m. — First responder call on the 800 block of Critter Court for a person with a breathing problem.

12:59 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on the 500 block of Braund Street for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Wednesday, May 20

6:19 a.m. — First responder call on the 400 block of Mason Street for a person who collapsed.

4:10 p.m. — First responder call on the 900 block of Second Avenue North for an injury from a domestic dispute.

6:08 p.m. — Fire call on the 900 block of 10th Avenue North for a person injured in a fall.

8:32 p.m. — First responder call on the 1100 block of Pierce Street for a person who was ill.

8:59 p.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Gordon Lane for a person injured in a fall.

Thursday, May 21

9:40 a.m. — Fire call on the 1000 block of Redwood Street to assist another agency.

Friday, May 22

6:55 a.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Gordon Lane for a Lifeline call.

9:16 a.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of 16th Avenue South for an unresponsive person.

12:24 p.m. — First responder call on the 1600 block of Pine Ridge Road for a Lifeline call.

3:20 p.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue North for a person injured in a fall.

6:40 p.m. — First responder call on the 1000 block of Oak Avenue South for a person having a diabetic problem.

Saturday, May 23

4:28 a.m. — First responder call on the 700 block of St. Paul Street for a person having chest pains.

11:20 a.m. — Fire and first responder call on Highway 16 and North Kinney Coulee Road for a car accident with injuries.

12:28 p.m. — First responder call at Quincy Street and 11th Avenue North for a person injured in a fall.

1:05 p.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Mason Street for a person with a cut foot.

7:46 p.m. — First responder call on the 1500 block of Franklin Street for a person having a seizure.

10:07 p.m. — First responder call on the 600 block of Vilas Street for a person having chest pains.

11:12 p.m. — First responder call on the 1600 block of Main Street for a person who was unconscious.

Saturday, May 24

12:18 p.m. — First responder call on the 1100 block of Main Street for a person having a diabetic problem.

6:02 p.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of Heritage Lane for a person having a diabetic problem.

6:50 p.m. — First responder call on the 9400 block of Highway 16 for a person having a seizure.

9:32 p.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Critter Court for a person having chest pains.

2:30 a.m. — First responder call on the 500 block of Fifth Avenue South for a person who had possibly overdosed.

10:40 p.m. — First responder call on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue North for a person who had possibly overdosed.

10:19 p.m. — Fire call on the 200 block of Wall Street East for an electrical fire.

Thursday, May 21

8:21 a.m. — Fire call on the 400 block of Amy Drive for a gas leak.

3:17 p.m. — First responder call on the W7100 block of Highway Z for an unresponsive person.

Friday, May 22

12:32 p.m. — First responder call on the W6900 block of Walden Place for a person injured in a fall.

Saturday, May 23

1:16 a.m. — First responder call on the 100 block of Debbie Lane for a person with a breathing problem.

7:40 p.m. — First responder call on the W7600 block of Sylvester Road for a person having an allergic reaction.

9:40 p.m. — First responder call on the N5900 block of Apple Blossom Road for a person who injured a leg.
