The following log is based on reports from the Holmen and Onalaska police and fire departments.

Onalaska Police Department
Sunday, May 3

11:52 p.m. — A driver with Bee Cab reported someone fled her vehicle on Oak Avenue South without paying the $13.50 fare.

Tuesday, May 5

6:41 a.m. — An Onalaska woman reported several items — including $70 in change, a money clip and two credit cards — stolen from her husband’s truck while it was parked overnight in their driveway on East Avenue North.

Wednesday, May 6

1 p.m. — An Onalaska man reported someone poured sugar into the gas tank of his car while it was parked overnight in his driveway on East Plaza Park Street.

Thursday, May 7

11:52 a.m. — An employee at Barge Nutrition reported an attempted burglary during the previous night.

4:59 p.m. — An Onalaska woman reported approximately $520 cash stolen from a purse in her open garage on East Avenue North.

Friday, May 8

2:10 a.m. — A 19-year-old Stoddard woman was arrested on Irvin Street for a probation violation and cited for underage drinking. A 22-year-old Stoddard woman was also cited for obstruction and permitting underage drinking.

3:41 a.m. — A 24-year-old Onalaska woman was arrested on Fourth Avenue for her second drunken driving offense and for driving after revocation.

7:21 a.m. — A 37-year-old Onalaska man was arrested at his 12th Avenue South home on a warrant.

10:21 a.m. — A 22-year-old Onalaska man was arrested at his Quincy Street home on a probation warrant after officers found alcohol in his refrigerator.

10:13 p.m. — A 17-year-old Onalaska boy was arrested at a Quincy Avenue apartment for domestic battery and disorderly conduct.

Saturday, May 9

12:53 a.m. — A 48-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Greens Coulee Road for drunken driving.

4:11 a.m. — A 17-year-old Onalaska boy was arrested at Wal-Mart on a warrant.

Sunday, May 10

3:02 a.m. — A 21-year-old Onalaska man was arrested on Second Avenue South for drunken driving.

Monday, May 11

1:25 p.m. — A 48-year-old Onalaska man was arrested at his Locust Street home for domestic battery.

6:15 p.m. — Three Onalaska residents reported flowers and flower pots stolen from their porches during the previous night. A Pine Street woman estimated the loss at $120, while a Chestnut Drive resident reported a $90 loss, and a Franklin Street woman estimated the loss at $100.

Holmen Police Department

Monday, May 4

9:53 a.m. — A 15-year-old Onalaska girl was cited for three incidents of truancy from Holmen High School.

10:47 a.m. — A 17-year-old Holmen boy was cited for two incidents of truancy from Holmen High School.

10:50 a.m. — A Holmen man reported six solar lights, valued at a total of $30, stolen from his front yard on Cherry Lane.

Tuesday, May 5

No time given — The owners of a rental property on Viking Avenue reported several items taken from a home since they assumed ownership of it in November. The missing items include a kitchen stove, vent hood, door, flooring, water heater and water meter, but the monetary loss is unknown.

2:44 p.m. — A Holmen High School shop teacher reported 16 ratchet wrenches, with a total value of $300, stolen on the previous day. The tools were later returned.

3:47 p.m. — A 29-year-old Holmen man was arrested at his Pioneer Drive home for domestic disorderly conduct and damage to property.

Wednesday, May 6

No time given — A 17-year-old Onalaska boy was cited for eight incidents of truancy from Holmen High School.

2:51 p.m. — A Holmen man reported a headlight, hood latch and grill stolen from his car while it was parked overnight on Commerce Street.

Friday, May 8

2:51 p.m. — An employee at Halfway Creek Apartments reported a $330 LCD monitor stolen from the fitness center within the previous two days.

Saturday, May 9

2:17 a.m. — A 24-year-old La Crosse man was arrested at Kwik Trip for carrying a concealed weapon after allegedly putting a pistol into a taxi cab that was sent to pick him up. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

5:52 p.m. — A Holmen man reported his son’s $120 bicycle stolen from the front yard of their Sunset Drive home within the previous two days.

11:29 p.m. — A 48-year-old Galesville woman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery after an incident on Sheffield Drive.

Onalaska Fire Department

Tuesday, May 5

8:05 a.m. — First responder call on Third Avenue South for a person vomiting blood.

8:24 a.m. — Fire call on Sandalwood Drive for a carbon monoxide incident.

2:21 p.m. — Unauthorized burning on 14th Avenue North.

2:41 p.m. — First responder call on Spruce Street for a unresponsive child.

Wednesday, May 6

9:04 a.m. — First responder call on Highway PH for a person that possibly had a stroke.

12:06 p.m. — First responder call on Heritage Lane for a person with a diabetic problem.

2:52 p.m. — First responder call on Pralle Road for a person injured in a fall.

2:52 p.m. — Fire call on Mason Street that was activated by a smoke detector.

5 p.m. — First responder call on Crossing Meadow Drive for a person with foot pain.

5:36 p.m. — First responder call on Market Place for a person with chest pain.

7:44 p.m. — First responder call on Highway PH for a person with abdominal pain.

Thursday, May 7

10:25 a.m. — First responder call on Crossing Meadows Drive for a person with a diabetic problem.

12:13 p.m. — Fire call on Market Place that was activated by a smoke detector.

Friday, May 8

11:32 a.m. — First responder Lifeline call on Troy Street.

8:09 p.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person with chest pain.

Friday, May 9

5:16 a.m. — First responder call on Monica Lane for a person with leg pain.

7:41 a.m. — First responder Lifeline call on Streblow Street.

12:34 p.m. — First responder call on Main Street for a person that possibly had a stroke.

12:34 p.m. — Passenger vehicle fire on Highway 35.

4:46 p.m. — First responder call on Redwood Street for a person with chest pain.

7:48 p.m. — Forest or wildfire on First Avenue South.

1:54 a.m. — First responder call on Crossing Meadows Drive for a confused person.

1:56 a.m. — First responder call on Carol Lane for a pedestrian struck by a car.

12:17 p.m. — First responder call on Highway 16 for a person with chest pain.

1:43 p.m. — First responder call on Highway 16 for a person having a breathing problem.

1:53 p.m. — First responder call on Green Court for a person having a seizure.

2:49 p.m. — First responder call on Market Place for an unresponsive person.

8:47 p.m. — First responder call on Sunset Vista drive for a person that was intoxicated.
