The following log is based on reports from the Holmen and Onalaska police and fire departments.

Onalaska Police Department
Friday, April 24

12:28 p.m. — Graffiti damage was reported on a building on the 300 block of Main Street.

Monday, April 27

12:49 p.m. — A 13-year-old boy was charged with theft at the middle school.

5:57 p.m. — An Onalaska man reported his girlfriend’s Gameboy Advance was stolen from a home on the 2600 block of Farnam Street in La Crosse.

Tuesday, April 28

10:09 a.m. — A 15-year-old girl was arrested for retail theft for hiding shirts under her sweatshirt at the Harley-Davidson store. She rode to the store from a bike she stole from the bike rack at the high school.

10:56 a.m. — Almost $500 worth of carwash tokens were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 800 block of 11th Avenue South.

6:37 p.m. — More than $1,000 worth of items were stolen from a garage on the 200 block of Oak Forest Drive.

Wednesday, April 29

10:35 a.m. — An iPod and a tool were stolen from the front seat of a vehicle parked on the 900 block of 12th Avenue South.

1:58 p.m. — A La Crosse woman said someone stole her wallet while she was shopping at Old Navy.

6:57 p.m. — A woman on the 600 block of Sand Lake Road said she was being harassed on Facebook.

7:15 p.m. — A Tomah woman was defrauded of more than $975 by someone using her debit card information. The last place she had used it was at the Onalaska Kwik Trip on Hwy. 16.

9:18 p.m. — Two males were spotted attempting to open doors of a locked car on the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue North.

11:35 p.m. — A 14-year-old boy was arrested for theft when he was picked up for a curfew violation. Police believe he and another 14-year-old boy who is being sought are responsible for a number of recent auto-break-ins.

Thursday, April 30

4:50 p.m. — A 43-year-old man on a $25,000 bond for aggravated battery in Illinois was arrested in Onalaska while he was going door-to-door on the 1500 block of East Young Drive selling cleaning supplies with another person. He also was wanted in Texas and Virginia.

Friday, May 1

7:19 a.m. — Almost $1,500 worth of stereo equipment was stolen from a locked vehicle on the 500 block of 10th Avenue North.

9:17 a.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct in connection with a domestic dispute on the 900 block of Well Street.

Saturday, May 2

12:49 a.m. — Police tried to revive a 76-year-old man found unresponsive in his home on the 200 block of Carol Lane, but he was declared dead at the scene.

4:04 a.m. — Police are investigating vandalism of 11 vehicles along the 800 block of Eighth Avenue North between Redwood Street and Robert Place and on Robert Place. Three one-gallon bags full of a white paste-type substance which was used to vandalize the vehicles, but no suspects were found.

Sunday, May 3

10:54 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a prowler around a home on the 100 block of Elm Street. The resident reported hearing someone on the porch and later someone breathing near a window of the home.

11:52 p.m. — A male is being sought in connection with fleeing a taxi without paying the fare on the 600 block of Oak Avenue South. The driver said he ran between homes and could not be found.

Monday, April 27

7:47 p.m. — Police assisted a woman on the 1700 block of Pinecrest Avenue after she had fallen inside her garage and hurt her knee and head.

Tuesday, April 28

9:48 p.m. — A married couple was arrested for domestic battery and

disorderly conduct for physically fighting each other at their home on the 300 block of Monarch Lane.

Wednesday, April 29

8:44 p.m. — Police assisted the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle crash at Hwy. 35 and Evergreen Way.

Friday, May 1

9:47 a.m. — The owner of a flooring company reported receiving more than $13,000 in worthless checks from a client.

12:32 p.m. — A 5-year-old child who was running in the road on Viking Avenue and Hale Drive was returned to his parents.

2:09 p.m. — A man on the 600 block of Commerce Street was receiving threatening text messages.

10:11 p.m. — A 45-year-old man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct after arriving home intoxicated and yelling obscenities at a home on the 100 block of Terri Circle Drive.

Saturday, May 2

10:07 a.m. — Police assisted a man on the 3100 block of Meadow Lark Lane who had injured his fingers using a table saw.

6:15 p.m. — Police assisted the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office on a call about a man in another man’s vehicle with a gun.

6:46 p.m. — Police investigated a report of theft of electricity by a contractor on the 2000 block of Viking. The contractor was working on a house nearby and had an extension cord hooked up to the caller’s home outlet.

Sunday, May 3

8:20 a.m. — Two lawn ornaments were stolen from a lawn on the 1100 block of Second Avenue East.

6:14 p.m. — Police assisted the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office with an accident at Hwy. V and Paulson Road.

8:29 p.m. — A woman was arrested for battery in connection to a domestic incident at a home on 200 block of Neitzel Drive.

Tuesday, April 28

8:04 a.m. — First responder call on the 900 block of Streblow Street for a Lifeline call.

9:19 a.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Mason Street for a person with elbow pain.

6:17 p.m. — First responder call on the 500 block of King Street for a person experiencing dizziness.

Wednesday, April 29

10:28 a.m. — Fire call on the N3300 block of Miller Road for a citizen complaint.

11:06 a.m. — First responder call on the 100 block of Green Coulee Road for an unresponsive person.

3 p.m. — Fire call on the 200 block of Sand Lake Road for a service call.

6:53 p.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Mason Street for a person with a breathing problem.

9:23 p.m. — Fire call on the 1000 block of La Crosse Street for a carbon monoxide incident.

12:13 p.m. — First responder call on the 800 block of Hope Court for a person with a breathing problem.

12:21 p.m. — Fire call on the 300 block of Mason Street for a cooking fire.

12:50 p.m. — First responder call on the 900 block of Green Bay Street for a person injured in a fall.

2:12 p.m. — Fire call on the 700 block of 11th Avenue for an unauthorized burning.

9:19 p.m. — Fire call on the 300 block of Larkspur Lane for a carbon monoxide incident.

Friday, May 1

12:06 p.m. — First responder call on the 600 block of Rolling Oaks Drive for a person who fell and possibly broke an ankle.

12:21 p.m. — Fire call on the 3300 block of Augusta Lane for a false alarm.

2:51 p.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of Eagle Bluff Court for a person injured in a fall.

4:13 p.m. — First responder call at Sand Lake Road and Redwood Street for a motor vehicle crash with injuries.

5:21 p.m. — Fire call on the N3700 block of Peters Road for an authorized controlled burn.

5:41 p.m. — First responder call on the 1300 block of Lauderdale Place for a person having a diabetic problem.

9:16 p.m. — First responder call on the 600 block of Rolling Oaks Drive for a person with an ankle injury.

9:51 p.m. — First responder call on the N4800 block of Clifford Drive for a person having a diabetic problem.

12:49 a.m. — First responder call on the 200 block of Carol Lane for a possibly deceased person.

8:17 a.m. — First responder call on the 1600 block of Main Street for a person who was hemorrhaging.

9:25 a.m. — First responder call on the 900 block of Streblow Court for a person with back pain.

10:03 a.m. — First responder call on the 300 block of Mason Street for a person who was vomiting.

1:56 p.m. — Fire call on the 200 block of 13th Avenue South for a gas leak.

3:50 p.m. — Fire call on the 2900 block of Lake Shore Drive in La Crosse for a building fire.

10:16 p.m. — First responder call on the 3000 block of Kinney Coulee Road South for a person bleeding.

8:34 a.m. — First responder call on the 900 block of Streblow Street for a Lifeline call.

12:29 p.m. — Fire call on the 300 block of Schnick Road for a water problem.

6:09 p.m. — Fire call on the 300 block of 13th Avenue South for a Dumpster fire.

7:02 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on I-90 and Hwy. 16 for a motor vehicle crash with injuries.

10:44 p.m. — Fire and first responder call on Hwy. 157 and I-90 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

6:34 p.m. — First responder call on Terri Circle Drive for a person with a leg injury.
