Sunday, Nov. 9
7:03 p.m. — Someone tried but failed to break in to Kirby’s Vacuum on the 1000 block of Riders Club Road over the weekend.
Monday, Nov. 10
6:53 a.m. — A 33-year-old man reported someone stole 10 CDs from his car while it was parked on the 800 block of Monroe Street over the weekend.
4:55 p.m. — An unlocked bike was stolen from Irving Pertzsch Elementary School.
9:22 p.m. — A 27-year-old man reported someone broke into his vehicle in the parking lot of a strip mall on Highway 16. A backpack with items valued at about $160 was stolen.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
4:10 p.m. — An Office Depot manager called police regarding suspected theft of items after a customer came in asking to ship boxes to a New Jersey address. Items in the boxes valued more than $3,000 were stolen from the Onalaska Best Buy store. Several items were Best Buy products, but not from the Onalaska store.
11:38 p.m. — Police responded to a theft complaint at the Wal-Mart store. A woman tried to leave the store without paying for $29 worth of cosmetics and a pregnancy test kit. When stopped at the door, she emptied her pockets and ran.
Wednesday, Nov. 12
3:55 a.m. — A 31-year-old man reported someone smashed out the rear window of his car along with both windows on the passenger side while it was parked on the 600 block of 11th Avenue North. They also flattened his right rear tire and attempted to smash the windshield.
9:27 a.m. — A 50-year-old woman reported nuisance phone calls on her work cell phone.
5:29 p.m. — A resident reported seeing kids painting graffiti underneath Highway 53 on East Avenue North. No one was there when police arrived but there was a lot of graffiti.
Thursday, Nov. 13
9:10 a.m. — A 70-year-old woman reported that sometime over the weekend someone stole her lawn blower from her storage shed on her property on the 100 block of Hazelwood Lane.
9:30 a.m. — A 71-year-old man was arrested for violating a city ordinance by illegally dumping trash from outside the city limits into Dumpsters at the Omni Center.
9:08 p.m. — A 22-year-old La Crosse man was arrested for carrying concealed weapons and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after being stopped for a traffic violation on Highway 35 North. Three knives were found as well as a glass marijuana pipe. The man had the marijuana hidden in a plastic bag in his sock.
Friday, Nov. 14
11:34 a.m. — Police were called to Northern Hills Elementary School after a 7-year-old boy broke a window of a door when going out to recess.
Saturday, Nov. 15
4:27 a.m. — A 38-year-old man reported his wallet and iPod were stolen from his car while it was parked overnight on the 1100 block of Well Street. His son also had a backpack and iPod stolen from his car that was parked across the street.
6:47 p.m. — Staff at Olive Garden found a plastic bag containing 5.4 grams of marijuana while cleaning the seats after customers at a table.
Sunday, Nov. 16
5:01 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on three active warrants on the 500 block of Oak Avenue North. His parents and a 19-year-old female were also arrested for obstruction and an outstanding warrant because they had repeatedly insisted they didn’t know where the suspect was when he was actually hiding in the house.

8:20 p.m. — Police were called to a home on the 700 block of McHugh Road for an out of control 17-year-old boy.
10:38 p.m. — Police responded to a complaint a male and female having a loud argument on the 3500 block of Highway 35.
Wednesday, Nov. 12
5:35 p.m. — A resident on the 800 block of Eastwood Street reported an unknown 7- to 8-year-old boy came to the door asking if he could spend the night.
Thursday, Nov. 13
12:09 p.m. — A 15-year-old boy was referred to juvenile services for possession of drug paraphernalia at the high school after a marijuana pipe was found on him.
12:31 p.m. — Police was called to Viking Elementary School for an out-of-control 8-year-old boy who was hurting himself and others.
8:38 p.m. — A 50-year-old man reported someone stole 70 to 80 gallons of diesel gas from his semi-tractor while it was parked on the 500 block of Northstar Road.

11:02 p.m. — A 43-year-old man complained someone threw eggs at his house on the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive. He heard thuds and ran outside and saw what he said was a teen throwing eggs. The teen ran toward Church Street and jumped into a truck and drove away.
